“Everything in its place keeps you safe.”
Ballooning is a fun, safe and exciting activity for almost anyone, however there are a few things to keep in mind. Please take a moment to ensure that you, your friends and family meet the flight requirements.
While we love having families fly with us. Children must be at least 8 years old AND 54” tall to participate, expecting mothers are not permitted to fly nor are four-legged family members (including emotional support animals, who should be left with a pet-sitter). All guests must be able bodied, in good health, can understand and follow instructions. Our gondolas (balloon baskets) are not wheelchair accessible, nor can they accommodate service dogs, oxygen tanks, crutches, canes, etc.
If needed, all guests will be shuttled to the designated launch site from our meeting location for the morning. Like any outdoor sporting activity, there is no set end time, so plan to be with us anywhere between 3-4 hours in total.
*Meeting location may be subject to change due to COVID-19 safety. Our staff will confirm with you the day before your flight by the evening at the latest. If you are staying at a local partnering Sonoma hotel, you can call 707-819-9223 after booking if you need a pick-up, which can range anywhere between 15-30 minutes prior to departure time. As a courtesy to other guests who want to truly enjoy the post-flight champagne toast celebration, we find that individuals who have other plans (winery tastings, brunch reservations, etc.) afterwards are best suited to drive themselves.
Remember, reservations are required in advance. Your meeting/pick-up time will be earlier, listed in your reservation confirmation and confirmed by our staff accordingly (keep those cell phones on). Remember, we cannot wait for late arrivals.
