Durell Vineyard Adventure
The Journey Begins: Sunrise in the Skies Your journey begins at dawn, the most magical hour in the valley. You will meet our team for check-in at Sonoma Skypark according to the time selected during your booking. You’ll be with our flight team for approximately 3–4 hours, starting with the breathtaking sight of the sun cresting the Mayacamas Mountains as we prepare the balloon. Once aloft, you’ll drift peacefully above the “patchwork quilt” of Sonoma’s vineyards before returning to earth for a traditional champagne toast to celebrate your flight.
The Transition: From Sky to Soil After your ballooning experience concludes (typically between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM), you will have a window of time before the second portion of your journey begins. This is the perfect opportunity to visit Downtown Sonoma to grab a local breakfast or coffee.
Please note that food is not served during the Durell portion of the day. You are more than welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy during the vineyard experience; however, we kindly ask that you let the Durell team know in advance if you plan to do so.
